"Much of our relationship with American venture capital funds we were able to strengthen by trying to understand which business models work well in the American market that could be brought to Brazil. And this led us to have a lot of contact with companies like Redfin, Open Doors, Zillow, etc., which are market leaders in the United States. But I realized that there are investment niches that are small for institutional investors but large for individual investors. And this made us start exploring, understanding, and mapping several of these niches in the American market," he explains.
